1. Invitation to the VE-Forum User Feedback Survey

Dear VE-Forum User,

We can celebrate the second anniversary of VE-Forum being online this month – and we are grateful to all who have contributed their ideas, knowledge and time!

Attracting almost 3000 registered users by now and more than 2000 unique visitors downloading some 2500 documents every week, the concept of an open platform for exchange and collaboration in the wider field of networks and virtual organizations seems to be valuable.

However, there are certainly a number of elements that can be improved. It is thus the right time to review the content, structuring, functionality and usability of VE-Forum in the light of your experiences. Please help us in advancing VE-Forum to better serve your needs by providing us with your feedback, expectations, and ideas. We have prepared an online questionnaire with 28 questions, which should take you a maximum of 10 minutes to answer.

You get to the questionnaire through this link.

The wish to shape VE-Forum to your requirements might be a good motivation to spend the time and effort, but we are also delighted to give away three interesting books among all respondents:

  • Virtual Organizations – Systems and Practices (2005), Editors: Luis Camarinha-Matos, Hamideh Afsamarnesh, and Martin Ollus
  • Managing Technology and Innovation (2005), Editors: Robert Verburg, Willemijn M. Dicke, and J. Roland Ortt
  • The Future Workspace – Perspectives on Mobile and Collaborative Working (2006), Editors: Hans Schaffers, Torsten Brodt, Marc Pallot, Wolfgang Prinz

The survey is open until end of March, and we will publish the results - and winners - on VE-Forum during April.
Looking forward to your contribution.

The editorial team,
Simona Barresi, Hermann Loeh, Bernhard Katzy, and Olivier Rerolle
